The LWV of Ames conducts studies on Local Issues. All of the Position Statements are based on these Studies

THE VOTER   is the monthly official voice of the local League and publishes 9 to 10 issues per year

To improve our systems of government and impact public policies, through citizen education and advocacy, State and National League take on a variety of the toughest issues to come to the forefront in local state and national levels.

 

BOOK CLUB

A non-partisant reading group open to the membership. Selections are usually non-fiction, and related to political, social and local issues.
